Top 5 Reasons to Consider Dentures
Boosts Your Self-Esteem
Studies show that people with bright, healthy smiles have more confidence at social or professional events.
Improved Oral Functions
Proper chewing and speaking depend on having a full set of healthy teeth. Even one missing tooth can cause difficulties.
Better Oral Health
When teeth are missing, your jawbone can deteriorate and weaken. Dental implants that support dentures encourage healthy bone growth, strengthening your jaw.
Better Diet
Replacing missing teeth with dentures can allow you to eat more nutritious foods like nuts and crunchy raw fruits and veggies.
Improved Appearance
Aside from leaving visible gaps in your smile, missing teeth can make your face look shriveled, aged, and unhealthy.

Our Staten Island, NY, Patients Love Us
I was one of those people that never went to the dentist. Over time, 3 of my teeth started loosening and I pulled them out myself. They were in the back, so they were not noticeable to anyone. Unfortunately, no one tells you that when you leave a space between your teeth for too long, the rest of your teeth start to shift which started to become an even worse problem so I had no choice but to make an appointment. I have been going there since 2017 and got my entire top row of teeth replaced. The process was painless (I know shocking) but it truly was. The entire staff from Dr Jason and Dr Alex to Judy, Jackie, the dental assistants, the hygenist Laurine (if I spelled your name incorrectly I apologize) and everyone else are all friendly, helpful, and accommodating to your time schedule. I would definitely recommend them for any major dental procedures you need done.
View on GoogleFor years I struggled with dental problems stemming from missing teeth, eventually ending up with partial and full conventional dentures. That was accompanied with messy denture adhesive. I started getting educated about Dental Implants. After attending several consultations, I read about Drs. Alex, and Jason Hecht’s practice, and scheduled a consult. Almost everything was explained in detail, about the procedures. Yes, the process is costly,, but well worth it. All aspects of the procedure are conducted at this one location. Today I have a complete mouth replacement, full upper and lower implants. I no longer have to worry, or be picky about which foods to eat. Dr. Jason did the majority of work, aided by other professional, personable staff. My thanks go to Dr. Jason, along with office staff Judy, Jackie, JoAnne, and others too many to name. Your office has given me a new start, for better food enjoyment, as well as good nutrition. Types of Dentures Our Practice Offers
The three primary types of dentures we provide include:

Complete Dentures
These traditional prostheses are probably what you envision when you think of dentures. Full conventional dentures replace all of the teeth on either the upper or lower dental arch. Traditional dentures rest on top of the gums and rely on natural suction and adhesives for support.

Partial Dentures
Individuals who are missing several non-adjacent teeth may benefit from a partial denture. These prostheses rest on the gums as well but also have metal clasps that anchor the partial dentures to nearby teeth for additional stability.

Implant-Supported Dentures
Since the advent of dental implants, this type of restoration has gained substantial recognition and popularity. Like their traditional counterparts, implant-supported dentures can be removable. However, they are attached to dental implants for maximum stability.
Benefits of Implant-Supported Dentures
No
Shifting or slipping out of your mouth when you eat, talk, or laugh.
No
Need for gooey adhesives to keep the dentures stuck to your gums.
No
Removing them for soaking in a liquid solution for cleaning. Just brush and floss normally.
No
Jawbone shrinkage where teeth are missing, as implants encourage new bone growth.
No
Replacing traditional dentures after only a few years. Implant-supported dentures last much longer.

Treatment Timeline For Implant-Supported Dentures
"We offer oral sedation and nitrous oxide sedation for patients anxious about the procedure."
Offering All-on-4 Dental Implants

This solution offers fixed full-arch teeth replacement using only four dental implants. Because All-on-4® maximizes existing healthy jawbone, it is often recommended for those who have experienced some degree of bone atrophy. If you undergo All-on-4 treatment at our practice, we can place a temporary denture immediately so you can leave our office with a brand-new smile while your permanent dentures are being crafted.
Treatment Costs
Insurance
Insurance should cover most or all of your dental treatment for traditional dentures. However, implants are not covered by dental insurance.
Financing
If you don't have insurance or if your insurance doesn't cover your treatment, our dentistry office has in-house financing plans that can help you manage the cost with monthly payments.
Discounts
Patients that pay for their treatment in full receive a discount on the overall cost. Patients that use cash or are seniors receive a 5% discount, and patients using credit to pay in full receive a 2.9% discount.
