“Your office has given me a new start.”
"For years I struggled with dental problems stemming from missing teeth… accompanied with messy denture adhesive. … I read about Drs. Alex and Jason Hecht’s practice, and scheduled a consult. Almost everything was explained in detail about the procedures. Today I have a complete mouth replacement, full upper and lower implants. I no longer have to worry, or be picky about which foods to eat. Dr. Jason did the majority of work, aided by other professional, personable staff. Your office has given me a new start, for better food enjoyment, as well as good nutrition.” — Dee, 5-Star Review
We'll Help You Budget for Dentures
The cost of dentures will vary depending on factors like any preparatory procedures you receive, the type of dentures you choose, and whether you're choosing implant-supported dentures. You can save money and manage your treatment costs with the following methods:
Insurance
Insurance should cover most or all of your dental treatment for traditional dentures. However, implants are not covered by dental insurance.
Financing
If you don't have insurance or if your insurance doesn't cover your treatment, our dentistry office has in-house financing plans that can help you manage the cost with monthly payments.
Discounts
Patients who pay for their treatment in full receive a discount on the overall cost. Patients who use cash or are seniors receive a 5% discount, and patients using credit to pay in full receive a 2.9% discount.
We Customize Every Case
Whether you are missing one tooth or all of your teeth, it can negatively impact your confidence and be detrimental to your overall oral health and nutrition. No matter how many natural teeth are missing, our Staten Island dentists can design a lifelike complete denture or partial denture to fully restore the appearance and function of your smile.
At our family-friendly Staten Island, NY, practice, Drs. Alex and Jason Hecht offer traditional and implant-supported dentures so that you can choose the dental treatment best suited to your needs, goals, and budget.

“I couldn’t be happier.”
"I’ve been using doctors Alex and Jason Hecht for many years and I couldn’t be happier. They know and understand my aversion to pain and I’m happy to say I’m not afraid of the chair thanks to them. They explain everything clearly in language I understand and make me aware of my options." — David, 5-Star Review
Dr. Jason Hecht on Our In-House Dentures Lab
Most New York practices send impressions to outside labs, risking mistakes and delays. At our state-of-the-art on-site lab, Dr. Jason Hecht handcrafts dentures, sometimes even in a single day.
Benefits of Implant-Supported Dentures
It's true that our high-quality traditional dentures can restore your smile fairly quickly. It's also true that the implant process to place artificial tooth roots in your jaw involves oral surgeries and healing periods. However, implant-supported dentures have major advantages that many patients feel are well worth the treatment process.
With implant-supported dentures:
There is no shifting or slipping when you eat, talk, or laugh.
There is no need for gooey denture adhesives to keep the restoration stuck to your gums.
There is no need to remove them for soaking in a liquid cleaning solution. Just brush and floss normally.
The jaw atrophy that follows tooth loss is prevented because implants encourage new bone growth.
You can expect your dentures to last longer than a traditional restoration.
No Need for Referrals We Handle Implants From Start to Finish
Both of our dentists are certified in all aspects of implant dentistry, from determining your candidacy through digital scanning to placing your implants and restorations. They can even perform preparatory procedures such as bone grafts if you do not have enough healthy jawbone to support implants. So there is no need to waste time driving to an expensive oral surgeon for treatment. Your entire case can be completed under one roof by the Staten Island dentists you've already grown familiar with.
Implant Dentures Treatment Timeline
We do everything we can to help our Staten Island patients feel comfortable in our care. With gentle techniques, local anesthesia, and oral conscious and nitrous oxide sedation, our patients can sit back, relax, and benefit from a life-changing treatment that's free of any pain.

Offering All-on-4
Dental Implants
This solution offers fixed full-arch teeth replacement using only four dental implants. Because the All-on-4® method maximizes existing healthy jawbone, it is often recommended for those who have experienced some degree of bone atrophy who aren't candidates for bone grafting. If you undergo All-on-4 treatment at our practice, we can place temporary dentures immediately so you can leave our office with a brand-new smile while your permanent dentures are being crafted.
Let's Do It!
Whether you’re missing teeth due to trauma, decay, disease, a medical condition, or another reason, our team is here to help. We provide life-changing transformations in a judgment-free zone. To get started, write to us or call our Staten Island office.
"This is the place to go."
"My wife had a bad lower bridge and couldn’t eat for months. We came in from Ohio and she had the teeth tomorrow implant procedure. She walked out with a brand new set of teeth! This is the place to go." — B, 5-Star Review
Dentures for Every Need
Dentures have been used to replace missing teeth for centuries. Today’s modern designs give patients a wide range of options. Custom-crafted and removable for easy cleaning, these prostheses are more lifelike and natural-looking than ever before. The three primary types of dentures we provide include:

Complete Dentures
These traditional prostheses are probably what you envision when you think of dentures. Full conventional dentures replace all of the teeth on either the upper or lower dental arch. Traditional dentures rest on top of the gums and rely on natural suction and adhesives for support.

Partial Dentures
Individuals who are missing several non-adjacent teeth may benefit from a partial denture. These prostheses rest on the gums as well, but also have metal clasps that anchor the partial dentures to nearby teeth for additional stability.

Implant-Supported Dentures
Since the advent of dental implants, this type of restoration has gained substantial recognition and popularity. Like their traditional counterparts, implant-supported dentures can be removable. However, they are attached to dental implants for maximum stability.
Caring for Your Dentures Dental Care Tips to Make Your Restoration Last
Traditional Dentures
If you have traditional removable dentures, they should be rinsed after eating and brushed once a day with a soft-bristle toothbrush. Take them out every night before you go to sleep and place them in a glass of lukewarm water or a denture cleaner to thoroughly clean them and allow them to retain their shape. Taking your dentures out every night will also give your gums time to rest. Clean any healthy teeth as you normally would, with a toothbrush and toothpaste.
Implant Dentures
You can care for implant-supported dentures similarly to how you would care for natural teeth: brush them with a soft-bristle toothbrush and nonabrasive toothpaste twice a day. Be sure to floss around your dental implants and under your denture. You may use a floss threader or another dental device that gives you better access than traditional floss. Visit our office twice a year so our dentists can keep an eye on your dentures and implants. If it comes time for a new denture, we can make you one.
“Second to none.”
"Dr. Hecht is truly second to none. My wife had a total mouth replacement and now has her beautiful smile back. We met with both Dr. Hecht and his dad — amazing, compassionate, and professional. To sum things up, I would highly recommend Dr. Hecht to anyone. He truly is the best." — John, 5-Star Review
