Full Mouth Implants: Upper Dental Implants for a Loose Failing Denture
Description
Leonard came to our Staten Island practice tired of living with a loose, failing upper denture and infected upper teeth. Years of dental problems, along with a smoking history, made careful planning especially important. He wanted to chew, laugh, and speak without worrying that his denture would move or come loose. His treatment began with removal of the infected upper teeth and placement of dental implants on the same day, along with a solid temporary set of teeth. After healing, his final upper porcelain implant teeth were completed. The before-and-after photos show the change from an unstable upper denture situation to fixed implant-supported teeth designed to restore comfort, chewing confidence, and a more natural smile. This case is a good example of how patients who feel worn down by years of dental problems can still be helped with the right evaluation and follow-through. Individual results vary.
